Roger & Sarah Strawn DeVader have owned and operated "Sarah's" in some form for 25 years in Holton, Kansas.  At first Sarah taught classes in a studio setting above an antique store. Their son Matt helped his mom when he was not in school. When Roger & Sarah had the opportunity to rent space on the ground floor, they moved their shop to the south side of the town square in Holton.  In 8 years they had out grown this space, so when a bigger building became available to them,  they moved again.  This move more than doubled their space.  Today you will find them located on the West Side of the Beautiful Town Square in Holton, Kansas.  Their son, Matt?  He Is the owner of Business M.D. which operates out of Sarah's, specializing in computer sales, service and repairs.

Sarah's Enchanted Cottage today is far more than the little studio upstairs where she sold wood cutouts, taught classes in painting or how to dry wildflowers and weeds and turn then into beautiful wreaths and  works of art.  Wood cutouts are long a thing of the past,  she still likes to paint, and somehow finds time to garden even with her busy schedule at the shop.

Sarah and Roger's creative abilities show throughout their shop.  Roger makes all the displays (plus makes furniture- see "Roger's Rustic Creations") and Sarah does the decorative finishing touches. You will see from the pictures in the web site that this is not just another gift shop - but truly "a place to delight your senses!"
